Ultimate Cell® partnered with Árón Taylor-Smith to trial hydrogen-on-demand technology on the team’s Mercedes logistics truck. After baseline testing, two Triple Ultimate Cell® units were installed and monitored over five race journeys. The truck achieved a 33% improvement in fuel efficiency, saving 579 litres of diesel and around 1.55 tonnes of CO₂ per season, with smoother drivability and no mechanical issues reported.
Lynch and Murphy trialled Ultimate Cell technology on a 30-tonne ADT, with annual projections showing potential savings of 8,190 litres of diesel, 21,541 kg of CO₂, and £9,382 per machine.
